Biotechnology - Over 15 years of field and laboratory technical experience in Biotechnology. Biotechnology projects include biological insect and disease control, induced resistance of forests and agricultural crops, technical advisor in public/private partnerships involved in developing, delivering and monitoring a novel biological control patent, the first of its kind in Canada, to protect Canada's forests from fungal pathogens. Biotechnology Research - Well over 15 years of fundamental and applied research involving classical and genomic technologies to address plant health and pathology, and biotechnology applications in forestry, and agriculture. Novel research and use of patents has been published in peer reviewed journals. Biotechnology Teaching - Over 5 years of upper level college and University program development, delivery and evaluation. I have developed, delivered and assessed 14 designated courses with diverse connection to Biotechnology, including Soil and Weed Science, Biology of Managed Ecosystems, Land Management, Biodiversity and Conservation, Environmental Science and Renewable Resources, Mycology, Biotechnology Labs, Genetic Engineering Science, and Business Trends in Biotechnology.
