About Charles Ormrod

Currently studying at QUT a Dual Degree in Business/IT majoring in Finance and Information Systems. While studying at QUT I have been working in the hospitality industry as a bartender, fining-tuned my customer service skills and am now developing both my business and IT skills while working as a Business Analyst. Having an eager interest in both finance and technology I actively partake in self-educating myself outside of my studies at QUT as well, expanding my knowledge in IT with how data can be utilised by business to improve and how to utilise financial instruments available to improve peoples financial position. Now, being in my penultimate year, I am actively looking for opportunities to gain relevant industry experience through following my interests and kickstart my career in the Finance or IT industries.
