About Charles Poor

I have been fortunate in my 30+ years experience in software development and project management. I have had the opportunity to have worked on many varied, complex technology projects. I have been able to travel extensively both domestic and international. I have worked with many incredibly talented, dedicated professionals in developing and implementing computer systems in banking and supply chain logistics. My experience at Citibank as well as a contractor/management consultant helped me learn to adapt quickly to complex environments, both domestic and international in order to get projects done. I am skilled at identifying and managing potential risks due to my extensive implementation background. I have implemented projects using multiple SDLC methods,(e.g. Waterfall, Agile), implemented process and procedures for controlled, audit ready projects. I am used to working in highly regulated, security sensitive environments with tight time frames for delivery. I am a consummate team player, yet can also work as an individual trouble shooter to help meet project goals.
