About Charles Shade

Hi, I'm Charles! I am a 3D generalist and a digital illustrator. By myself I can design a scene, 3D model the hard surface assets, texture them, build that scene, add lighting, and compile it to be a walking simulator. My only weakness is organics, but if you need an IFV, a circuit breaker panel, a raptor robot, a network of plumbing and wiring, or an entire furnished warehouse, I'm the guy. Past that I can also illustrate humans, anthropomorphic beings, robots, vehicles, and landscapes. I've taken on various freelance gigs from people who play Dungeons and Dragons to folks wanting car decals and body panels conceptualized. Other hobbies include wrenching on cars and farm equipment, riding motorcycles, going on road trips, building/working with computers, supporting indie animation, playing story driven games, and building furniture and rigs with wood and metal. My tools of the trade are Modo, Blender, Substance, Unity, Unreal, Paint Tool SAI, Photoshop, Illustrator, CSP, and Font Forge
