I am a results-driven Data Scientist with a unique blend of clinical expertise and advanced analytical skills. My educational background includes a Master of Science in Analytics and a Doctor of Physical Therapy, equipping me with both the clinical knowledge and technical proficiency needed to excel in today’s data-centric healthcare environment. I have extensive experience in research design, program evaluation, and medical analytics, complemented by my proficiency in R, Python, SAS, and various SQL languages. I am passionate about integrating clinical insights with analytical rigor, using appropriate methodology and ensuring data accuracy to drive positive outcomes in patient care and operational efficiency. In my current role as Senior Manager of Data Science at BD, I lead a team primarily focused on providing advanced analytic reporting and automated production dashboard tools across a variety of medical products. I collaborate with clinical and sales teams to define, test, and disseminate results on KPIs that drive short- and long-term improvements in hospital cost, efficiency, and patient safety. Further value assessment is driven by causal analysis methods, including difference-in-difference assessment of product value. In addition to leading teams, I have independently developed and real-time RShiny dashboards providing insights across multiple products, and created interactive mapping applications to support strategic market decisions. My career has also included roles in academia as a university adjunct instructor, where I directed courses in outcome measurement, advanced statistics, and research methods. I have a proven track record of producing peer-reviewed publications, developing research protocols, and contributing to evidence-based practice.
