Hi, I am a principal software tester specializing in networking/linux environments and networking appliances specifically. I have over 9 years of experience in the testing industry with 3 years of direct experience in networking/networking appliances. Ive spearheaded several initiatives at my current company including: Performance testing, Deep Packet Inspection, IDS integration, escalations, cross team projects and packet capture tools. Furthermore, I have extensive experience coordinating testing efforts across different dev teams as well as mentoring and guiding the testers under me throughout my career. I also do systems/dev-ops style tasks including: systems setup, network troubleshooting, package upgrades/downgrades/installation, spinning up VMs etc. The final thing Ive been heavily involved in was a new company initiative to present a network appliance in the cloud which I was the sole/lead tester on and is now deployed to multiple clients.
