About Charles Wang

In his current role as Advancement Coordinator at London Business School, Charles supports the Advancement team’s efforts to foster lifelong connections and deliver transformational initiatives, including the School’s £200 million fundraising campaign. His expertise in coordination and stakeholder management enables him to contribute effectively to the team’s mission of empowering global business leaders and driving impactful change. Charles earned his Master of Philosophy degree in Strategy, Marketing, and Operations at the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School 2024, in the United Kingdom. He specialized in strategic management and used a quantitative approach. He focused on exploring the Upper Echelon and Stakeholder Theory in association with corporate LGBTQ+ initiatives and the narcissistic characteristics of upper echelons in organizational performances during global financial downturns. Charles completed the legislative internship at Supervisor Joel Anderson's Office in December, 2022. Charles obatined his Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Business and minor in Business Economics at the University of California, San Diego, UCSD graduating class of 2023. He is an alumni at Rio Hondo College, Whitter, California class of 2020. He received his associate degrees in Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering at Rio Hondo College. He immigrated from China in 2009 at age of 18, and he is bilingual in Chinese and English. He worked at T-Mobile USA Inc. as retail sales associate and retail sales manager from 2011 to 2015. He was an entrepreneur investing in T-Mobile branded retail stores in Los Angeles county from 2015 to 2018. He has efficient computer language skills background such as C++, Java, Python, R, SQL, and Tableau. He has quantitative business analytic skills observing and analyzing business models. Charles loves to network and communicate from people who have different social background, and he loves to engage in community events.
