For the last 20 years I have worked under various titles but always as a Tactical Solutions Expert, tasked with thinking outside of the box to accomplish what others deemed impossible within constrained time, budget, and technology. As I have matured in business and life I often find myself in mentoring relationships, guiding others like myself to achieve great things without the need for a steep and often fraught learning curve. Years of building teams has taught me to seek talent and a particular way of thinking in my employees; These things cannot be easily taught, where skills and procedure are relatively simple to teach. Individuals who get their work done every time consistently but also are considered "brash" or "abrasive"; The person who is always challenging the norm, or suggesting "better ways"; The person you catch playing video games or reading at their desk when they think no one is watching. With a little leeway, guidance, and access these individuals will often produce amazing outcomes.
