About Charli Barnard

I work in learning design and learning systems, helping organisations make learning clearer and easier to use.My work sits across the full learning lifecycle, from supporting learners and improving LMS workflows through to structuring content, shaping programs, and refining how education is delivered in practice. I’m particularly interested in the moment where information becomes understanding. Often small changes to structure, pacing, or navigation make a bigger difference than adding more content.Across government, health, and technical environments I’ve seen how easily valuable knowledge becomes hard to access when it isn’t organised well. Good learning rarely comes from complexity. It comes from clarity and thoughtful sequencing.More recently I’ve become interested in how professionals share expertise outside traditional training settings. Many people have material they teach repeatedly but translating that into a format others can follow independently can feel unclear. The same learning principles apply, just in a different context.I enjoy work where practical improvement and thoughtful design overlap, especially when it helps people feel more confident using what they’ve learned.
