About Charli Wareham

Qualified MFL teacher. Now part of a fantastic pastoral team at York College, supporting the students in all aspects of their development.After having lived and taught in Cologne, Germany for a year, I managed to improve my confidence with not only the language, but in both social and professional situations. In addition to this, I was chosen to give a paper at Cambridge University about the Refugee Crisis in Germany in my second year of University, being the youngest there to give a speech. Upon my return from my year abroad, I was also selected as a British Council Ambassador and took on training and gave talks to younger students, offering advice and help about their year abroad. Since then, I have worked in varying capacities in education, taking on roles as a TA, qualifying as a secondary Language teacher and currently being a member of the pastoral team at an FE college.
