About Charlotte Bundgaard
Charlotte Bundgaard is Associate Professor at Aarhus School of Architecture since September 2024. In 2019 to 2024 she was director at the Danish Academy in Rome. She holds a PhD and MA in Architecture, and a BA in Art History. She has a long career within research, teaching and management. She was Vice Dean in 2010-14 and Head of Research in 2017-19 at Aarhus School of Architecture. CB has been managing research within a broad research field, developing research dissemination, and building external professional collaborations. She has been member of numerous scientific committees, advisory boards, editorial boards, and foundation boards. She is also an experienced PhD supervisor and assessor. Her research field is industrial building culture and contemporary perspectives on transformation of architectural heritage. She obtained her PhD degree in 2006, and she has disseminated her research in a number of publications within the fields of industrialised architecture, building culture, material studies, sustainability, tectonics, and architectural heritage.
