About Charlotte Hamner

With almost 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, I am currently a Commercial Claims Representative handling APD claims. Prior to moving to the Commerical line of business, I worked as a System Support Analyst in the Claims tech space and before that I worked as a Personal Lines APD Claims Specialist. Through my previous roles within the insurance industry, I have been able to build a strong background in claims resolution, conflict management, and a strong understanding of claims processes, policies and procedures. I am someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of customers and/or stakeholders. My attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment have contributed to my success and the success of teams I have worked with. Prior to working in this industry, I worked in hospitality for 15 years, most of which were spent working for various tour operators. In my most recent hospitality role as a Groups Coordinator I was responsible for the operations of several bus tour series, which included contracting hotels/suppliers, scheduling/hiring tour guides, confirming bookings, writing itineraries, preliminary accounting, 24hr on call tour support and client customer service support. I was also responsible for quoting and selling ad-hoc group requests. Through these roles, I developed and honed my organizational and multi-tasking skills as well as demonstrated my skills in claims resolution, conflict management, communication, research and analysis.
