About Charlotte Spriggs

I am a final year Marketing Management student at Oxford Brookes University, keen to expand my portfolio of skills and am looking to put some of my learning into practice. I would describe myself as a motivated, personable, and hardworking young person, able to work well in a team or as an individual. I have a strong work ethic having held down two part time job positions since I was sixteen years old, as well as keeping up with my studies and balancing my university committee roles. As well as my marketing studies, I am working part-time as a Digital Marketing Coordinator for GRS Stone Supplies. In this role I am solely responsible for sourcing content for posts, producing the posts and scheduling them using Hootsuite. In addition, I also compile analytical data on social media post performance to identify key trends and influencing factors. This has solidified my interest in digital media marketing; planning, developing, and implementing digital activity. Before, I went to university, I spent a year working in industry as Accounts assistant at Vistry Ltd, a reputable housebuilding company. During my time there, I developed key accountancy skills through working alongside qualified accountants and my role involved working with the sales and marketing team since I was partially responsible for monitoring marketing expenditure. My responsibilities also included ensuring that payments were made on time and to manage payment enquiries. I love to keep busy and at university, I am the current Baking Society President as well as the Marketing Society Treasurer expanding both my love for my subject and my keen interest in Baking. I have obtained both grades five and six in musical theatre as well as both a Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award and a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) award.
