About Charlotte van Schie

I am a psychologist with clinical and academic experience, in particular with people with personality disorder following my PhD research into borderline personality disorder and currently a research fellowship with an expert centre for personality disorder. I have become acquainted with different therapeutic approaches and have become apt at complex statistical analyses as well as qualitative analyses. I have published and presented internationally in journals and on conferences. Combining clinical work and scientific research is important to me to further the understanding of childhood trauma, identity difficulties, and personality disorder in order to address gaps in practice and research and reduce stigma associated with mental health. To this end, I value collaborating with people with lived experience to improve well-being and healthcare.
