About Chas Wolfe

I've spent the last 20 years working behind the scenes of Men's Division 1 College Basketball programs. I started my career (2002-2005) at Marshall University as a student-assistant for the Men’s Basketball team. I learned servant leadership by sweeping floors, filling up water bottles, washing uniforms and rebounding after practice for players. I also networked on the summer camp circuit working for Kentucky, Reebok, Hoop Group, 5-Star Basketball and many other college camps. Fast forward 15 years later and I’ve evaluated thousands of college prospects, scouted endless NBA draft picks, directed elite camps, hosted showcase team events on National TV, assisted with executive search firms hiring coaches on all levels, assisted with non-conference game scheduling, navigated the transfer transfer portal and found fair market value for NIL collectives on student-athletes. I built Prep Scouting from the ground up using endless professional business skills; like the marketing mix, b2b, people management, brand development, team consulting, event marketing, sponsorship development and sales techniques. Our customer service has helped us retain 90% of our 100+ accounts over a 15 year span.I take great pride in the fact that we’ve faced endless challenges from housing market bubbles, financial market crashes, the pandemic, inflation, recession and we keep moving forward.We have made it through the hard times and helped both student-athletes and college coaches press forward.
