About Chase Barnwell

My main objective is to gain experience in health care prior to applying to medical school. I've found that providing patient care is my passion and I hold myself to the highest standards of ethics. I learn new skills quickly and feel comfortable in stimulating, unfamiliar environments. I am also eager and excited to overcome new challenges, and hope to explore new positions to contribute all that I am able. I am seeking a position that will not only allow me to grow personally and professionally, but also make a difference in other’s lives. My background in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, which ranges from working in small research and development labs to large manufacturing facilities throughout several companies in the bay area, has given me several valuable experiences. From these experiences, I have learned much about cGMP guidelines and trained quickly to do jobs ranging from production to method development. I am enthusiastic in my work and meticulous with proper documentation. Regardless of the task, I am passionate and excited about the results. I take pride in knowing that I can be a part of a team that is dedicated to helping others. I have licensing as an Emergency Medical Technician and am certified in BLS CPR with skills ranging from performing EKGs to phlebotomy and much more!
