About Chase Linssen

I am a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), and Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) with over 11 years of technical and field experience in industrial hygiene and occupational health and safety. My work has consistently centered around applying evidence-based strategies to reduce risk, promote health, and drive performance across a wide range of industries and environments. Currently, I serve as the Operations Manager for the Alberta OHS group at Pinchin Ltd. and the Regional Practice Leader – OHS for Alberta and Saskatchewan, where I am responsible for the strategic direction, operational oversight, and overall growth of the practice. I also serve as President-Elect of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) Alberta Local Section, supporting the development of the profession and the next generation of health and safety professionals. As Operations Manager, I oversee business operations, financial performance, and team development within the Alberta OHS group. I lead forecasting and strategic planning initiatives, while ensuring our team delivers high-quality, technically sound work that aligns with client needs and industry standards. In my technical capacity, I manage and contribute to complex industrial hygiene and OHS projects, with a continued focus on fieldwork requiring advanced expertise. My background includes extensive practice of industrial hygiene, OHS consulting, confined space evaluation, EHS auditing, development and evaluation of health and safety programs, and assisting our clients with meeting legislative and regulatory requirements. In my role as Regional Practice Leader, I am focused on advancing the practice of OHS across Alberta and Saskatchewan. This includes identifying and addressing gaps in technical knowledge, process consistency, and team development—ensuring that excellence in service delivery is achieved and maintained. I hold a Master of Public Health (MPH) specializing in Occupational and Environmental Health, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) specializing in Immunology and Infection, both from the University of Alberta.
