About Chase Mitchell

I am a recent graduate from the Rutgers Landscape Architecture program and I am very eager to start working in a realistic setting. I have learned many valuable skills in this program at Rutgers and I am positive that you would find them to be more than sufficient for fulfilling your needs. I am very comfortable generating two-dimensional drawings in AutoCAD and rendering them by hand or in Photoshop and Illustrator. I am equally as comfortable generating three-dimensional drawings and renderings using Rhinocerous/Flamingo and SketchUp. With that being said, I am an extremely fast learner and have been able to learn new programs very quickly in order to adjust to a setting in which a specific program is preferred. Apart from my technical skills in generating deliverables for clients, I am also an incredibly enthusiastic and collaborative spirit. I love working with other people and thrive when faced with tough design problems in a group setting. I am very determined and motivated when presented with work that engages my creativity and problem-solving skills and love to push for the best-possible final product. As a young man who is entirely invested in the field of Landscape Architecture, it would be worth noting that I have an undying love for our environment, deeply enjoy spending time outdoors, and am intrigued and knowledgeable on many locally-native plant species and ecological processes.
