About Chase Treadwell

As a CS major at Western Governors University, I am passionate about learning and applying the latest technologies and skills in programming, logic, and math. I have a strong academic record, having received multiple honors and awards, such as second place at the Utah State Math Competition and the winner of the MX Hacker's Revenge Contest. I also have valuable work experience in the tech sector, having interned with the Utah Department of Government Operations, where I learned how to use the Microsoft Power Apps ecosystem to update old government systems. Additionally, I worked for over two years as a Code Sensei at Code Ninjas, where I taught children ages 7-14 how to program in various languages and platforms, such as Javascript, C#, Roblox, and Scratch. I also did online tutoring during the pandemic, adapting to the changing needs and preferences of my students. I am currently working as a Front House staff at Culver's, as I look for a new internship or junior position in the tech industry. Additionally, I help teach math to middle and high school students after school at Maeser Prep. I am eager to gain more hands-on experience and contribute to innovative and impactful projects that can make a difference in the world.
