About Chasity Williams

I am an Associate Director that oversees individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, staff and low-level management in a residential setting. Makes recommendations for the maximum utilization of existing services as well as for additional or expanded services; Implements a minor program service or a phase of a complex major program; Maintains liaison and cooperative relationships with a variety of public and private agencies; Assists in developing and participating in training programs for personnel working with the program services; Ensuring the treatment plan, and providing the client’s health and safety, promoting independence in the person-centered planning. Handles everyday responsibilities that can frequently change ensuring that all staff understands and follow the company policies and produces. I have participated in various kinds of leadership programs and organizations. My diverse work experience and background allow me to build strong professional and unique relationships. My desire to become a CPR/AED First Aid instructor and educate other individuals about health-related issues started with when my mother, Joanne Williams who had two major open-heart surgery. As a result of my mother’s battle with Heart Disease and given the fact that it is the number one killer of African American women, I became motivated to help others understand heart disease by teaching and to volunteer my time at different Health Care events.
