3i is an invite-only investment community for founders, fund managers and family offices that was founded by Mark Gerson (GLG), Billy Libby (Upper90) and Teddy Gold. The genesis of 3i resulted from a conversation between our founders where they discussed how they had sourced their best private market opportunities. The realization being that the best opportunities had typically been referred to them by someone from their immediate networks (ie friends, colleagues, etc.)Three years later, 3i has over 400 members from different industries, sectors and geographies sharing deal flow, best practices and their respective industry expertise. The platform is formally broken down into three pillars: Deal Flow, Networking & Education. Meeting regularly, connecting digitally and in real life, the community is driven by a desire to support one another in all aspects of business and life.
