With over 4 years of experience in patient service management and supervision, I am a ServSafe Manager certified professional who is passionate about providing quality culinary and nutrition services to diverse populations. As a supervisor at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, I work with a team of patient service assistants to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of meals and snacks to veterans and their families. I also coordinate with dietitians, nurses, and other staff to address the dietary needs and preferences of the patients. Previously, I was a patient service manager at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and a patient service supervisor at Children's National Hospital, where I managed the daily operations and staff performance of the patient service department, as well as implemented new policies and procedures to improve patient satisfaction and food safety.
