About Chaz Hinds

Chaz Hinds is a rising business professional with experience in nonprofit financial leadership and insurance-based wealth planning. As Chief Financial Officer of the West Liberty Family Support Center, he oversees budgeting, grant funding, and operational strategy to ensure effective resource use and long-term community impact. In addition to his nonprofit role, Chaz serves as a Junior Broker at GFI, helping individuals and families plan for long-term security through tailored insurance and retirement solutions. His background spans financial services, and risk management. Chaz earned his MBA from West Liberty University, where he also served as a graduate assistant in student advising. In that role, he worked closely with college students—particularly student-athletes—to help shift mindset, improve habits, and align academic goals with long-term success. He was also active in the university’s Investment Club, deepening his understanding of financial planning and leadership systems. A former college basketball player and multi-time team champion, Chaz continues to coach and mentor athletes in his community. He is committed to helping others grow—on and off the court—and brings a mindset of continuous learning and disciplined execution to every opportunity.
