About Cheandra Edwards

I have 8+ years of experience in Customer Support and Customer Care as well as 2 years of experience managing a team of up to 14 customer care mentors remotely across the United States. In between my journey of Customer Support/Customer Care I also have experience as a product support specialist. As a result I was able to improve product features and overall user experience within Wix's user facing operating system and identity settings. My passion and dedication to leading Users to success and enabling my peers through necessary and catered development and coaching through mentorship resulted in the creation of a new global department, including my current role as a Mentor Team Lead.I had the privilege of being a DEI representative at Wix.com working alongside a group of my peers to ensure Wix is a diverse and equitable place to work. In addition, myself and 3 of my peers lead sKinTech; an Employee Resource Group dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive community in tech. We are pioneers of setting the standard of DEI best practices and events at Wix through different forms of employee engagement i.e. Black Cinema nights during Black History Month, guest speakers to raise awareness about important facts and events in history and current social injustices, panel discussion during Asian American Pacific Islander and Hispanic Heritage Month, monthly forum discussions, newsletters and blog posts collectively cultivated by our peers and ERG leaders.
