I am a Registered Dietitian with over 20 years of clinical experience, specializing in the management and treatment of acute and chronic disease conditions, and currently working as a Pediatric Dietitian with Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority Developmental Services. My career has spanned clinical care, leadership, and research. I have ~3 years of experience as a Clinical Site Lead, where I fostered positive team dynamics and advanced strategic goals, and over 2 years as a Research Associate with the More-2-Eat Project, where I supported the implementation of the Integrated Nutrition Pathway for Acute Care to improve the treatment of malnutrition. In my current role, I provide individualized nutrition support for children and families, focusing on growth, development, feeding challenges, and chronic conditions. I collaborate closely with health care teams and communities to deliver culturally safe, family-centered care that respects Indigenous traditions and strengths. Alongside my clinical work, I bring over 20 years of experience in project management and mentoring nutrition students, contributing to innovation in nutrition services and the development of future dietitians. I am deeply passionate about pediatric nutrition, malnutrition prevention, and leadership in dietetics. My commitment lies in empowering children, families, and dietetic professionals to thrive through education, collaboration, and compassionate care.
