I have been working in the Prepaid Industry for fifteen years. I began my work in this industry while working with Claro in the Dominican Republic where the prepaid industry dominates the wireless market. I was responsible for activation of new prepaid accounts and programming various types of CDMA phones for new Claro customers. I was able to see our business and industry from a completely different point of view. I firmly believe that the ability to think critically and problem solve is strongly dependent upon a person’s ability to view the issue from various different perspectives in order to find the most suitable resolution. I began with Atlantic Prepaid as a Customer Service Representative and have worked my way up through the company by demonstrating my increased knowledge of business and accounting procedures, customer relationship management and new product launches. I have successfully implemented several new programs such as our latest CRM as well as our inventory management software into the work space in order to increase our overall efficiency. I coordinate all new product launches, which has allowed me to gain the necessary experience to deal with several aspects of the prepaid industry such as marketing, deadlines, detail orientation and relationship management with major partners in an efficient and effective manner. However, because I started from the ground up, I pride myself in being able to manage many facets of our business; from terminal programming to new store deployments to a new product launch to over 1800 accounts Canada-wide. Throughout my time working for Atlantic Prepaid, I have helped contribute to the over 100% growth in the company’s customer base, for which I am very proud.
