Chelsea Smith is the CEO & Founder of CAJ Cyber. She brings over nine years of experience in Information Security, Business Process Analysis, and Data Analysis to help organizations navigate the evolving challenges of cybersecurity risk and compliance. She holds CPA, CISA, CC, and AAIA certifications, as well as a Master’s in Accounting with a collateral in Information Systems from the University of Tennessee.At CAJ Cyber, Chelsea leads with a mission to empower businesses by strengthening their governance, risk, and compliance programs. She specializes in HITRUST, NIST, and SOC frameworks. She has partnered with CISOs and leadership teams across industries to evaluate security programs, design policies, conduct assessments, and deliver impactful security awareness training. By combining technical expertise with executive-level communication, she enables leaders and boards to make informed decisions and build resilience against evolving threats.Chelsea is also a recognized voice in the intersection of AI and cybersecurity. She frequently speaks on topics including AI Procurement and SDLC, AI Governance, AI Security, and AI Audit, helping organizations understand the opportunities and risks of emerging technologies. With hands-on skills in ERP systems, data analytics, machine learning, and generative AI, she integrates advanced tools into cybersecurity strategies to strengthen compliance and risk management.In addition to her consulting and public speaking, Chelsea is passionate about education and thought leadership. She currently serves as the President of the ISACA Middle Tennessee Chapter, which has over 800 active members. She has taught university-level courses in IT Governance, IT Audit, Risk Management, Data Analytics, and Information Security, and she continues to publish insights on cybersecurity trends and emerging technologies to equip others with the knowledge to protect their digital assets.
