About Chen Wang

Nice to meet you. My name is Wang, Chen-Chi of the Accredited Animal Resources Section at OIST. I have my professional experience in the laboratory animal facility for about 20 years, in addition to laboratory animal appointed veterinarian Attending Veterinarian), in vivo research, quarantine of laboratory animals, microbiological monitoring, veterinary management of laboratory animals, We have practical experience such as cryopreservation of embryos and sperm, education and training of facility users, examination of animal experiment plan, renovation work of animal experiment facility. I entered the doctoral course (Department of Clinical Molecular Biology), Graduate School of Veterinary Medicine, Hokkaido University, and under the guidance of Professor Mutsumi Inaba, I made a pathological analysis of hereditary diseases in Japanese Black cattle and analyzed the Band3 gene knockout mouse. Also, at the Graduate School of Animal Experiment Facility (Professor Nobuya Sasaki), as a veterinarian for the selection of experimental animals, he performed veterinary management and laboratory monitoring of experimental animals. Contributed to the improvement of veterinary management programs at animal testing facilities.
