About Cheng Wang

I am Wang, Chi-Cheng. I majored in German Literature and Language and minor in International Business at Taiwan Tamkang University. Through my studies, I not only acquired a wide range of knowledge on German and culture but also on business strategies and marketing skills. I was especially impressed by the Marketing course and desired to further explore this field. I also took other courses such as International Marketing, International Business Management which are all connective with my interest. To enlarge my scope of knowledge in marketing, I began my Master program in Marketing at Lancaster University in UK from October, 2017. My dissertation was about market development investigation in B2B market with an UK company specialized in medical field. After this year, I have gained plenty of knowledge of marketing especially in business strategies, market research and B2B market, which have help me enhance my ability. In order to apply the knowledge about business strategies and marketing skills which I have learned at classes into real business, during my last year of university, I applied for an internship in a German company, BOSCH. As an intern, I assisted for a variety of works, such as marketing, sales and administration to find out my interests, strengths and weaknesses. My main responsibility was to assist for advertising our brand and arrange orders and deliveries for most of our dealers and key accounts which are online shopping platforms. I am fully fascinated by the marketing methods, working system and tools which are used of branding our firm. Working as an intern in company, granted me a better understanding on organizing sales, applying marketing strategies and information in the procedures of all the functions. I have also been as deputy of our manager during her maternity leave. My main responsibility was to negotiate with other colleagues in other countries to arrange the inbound and maintain the system (SAP).
