About Cheong Siong

An all-round audio-visual, multimedia, new media, events, remote teaching/learning and business process technology person. Practise mostly in education industry but suitable for corporate world. Believe in holistic design, implement, operate and maintenance of audio visual, multimedia, video conference, new media, teaching and learning and live events technology for arts performance halls, auditoriums, lecture theatres, classrooms, science/arts/computer laboratories, seminar and conference rooms in education campuses including Universities, research institutions and high schools. Design, manage and operate Telepresence, video conferences, webinars, synchronised, asynchronous, blended and flipped classes. Recently doing a lot of Learn/Teaching From Home technology due to Covid Pandemic. Actively lead/participate in designing Customer Relationship Management(CRM), Learning Management(LMS) and School Management systems(SMS). Participate in start-up design, implementation, commissioning and operation of AV and multimedia technology for new campus and building initiatives, refurbishments and upgrade projects. Interface between faculty, staff, architects, AV consultants, MEP and building contractors, networking and facility engineers for all matters pertaining to AV and multimedia. Manage audio, video, lighting, production, recording and streaming technology for live performance, seminars, town hall, convocations, trade-shows and conferences. Familiar with AV and multimedia pre-production, live and post production workflow technology. Familiar with photography, videography, graphic design, multimedia design, digital and offset printing and web technology. Constantly applying new initiatives to AV and multimedia use and performance. Familiar with most of the professional brands and endeavour to take lower costs approach by applying upcoming prosumer brands whenever possible including new iOT devices.
