ASQ-Certified Calibration Technician with a specialization in electronic calibrations, documentation and working with Met/Cal and Met/Team automation programs. 20+ year background in the production and R&D field with 17 years specializing in the manufacturing and optimization of holographic diffraction gratings and holographic spectrometers. Key role in monitoring the release, processing and quality assurance of new components. Past role as a research technician in the specialization of coated abrasives and later spray coatings for semiconductor housings. Responsible for reverse engineering, sample testing and formulations. Worked closely with engineers and scientists to run test trials and generate documentation. Extensive experience with the use of many precision scientific and industrial instruments such as interferometers, SEMs, DMMs, cutting saws, tensile testers, gas lasers, light meters, spectral analyzers, spectral cameras and microscopes. Additional two years of experience as a Wilton certified cake decorating instructor. Coach and mentor new students and provide product demonstrations for store patrons.
