Currently strengthening systems within the Affordable Homeownership Program at Habitat Chicago centering the buyers’ experience using sound research methods and a person centered, trauma-informed lens. Eliminating symbolic gestures as community work, addressing power, privilege and oppression, and prioritizing equity. Dedicated to allowing my passion for connecting with and empowering people to lead me in my pursuit to eliminate inequities in my communities. My communication skills, as well as leadership skills, have been developed in professional, academic, clinical and community roles. My resourcefulness is proven. Maintaining values of diligence, continuous improvement and integrity at every position of employment continue to prepare me for each step of my journey as a network catalyst. I welcome cultivating genuine relationships from which new perspectives and opportunities can be built. With a foundation rooted in empowering communities and my passion for improving the health and financial equity of purposefully disinvested populations have led me to seek a career that will support creating partnerships to strengthen the outcomes of neighborhoods across Chicago. I am specifically interested in strengthening collaborations between financial institutions and community organizations, Upstream and Downstream Social Determinants of Health.
