A former OH & S Prosecutor for the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Cheryl has for almost 40 years focused her practice on hard hitting and practical OHS training, strategic advice on complex OHS problems, skilled representation of employers and managers across Canada in health and safety trials, appeals, inquests, and other proceedings. She writes regularly for health and safety publications, including OHS Canada Magazine and Canadian Occupation Safety Magazine. She is co-author of a leading health and safety text entitled “The Employer’s Health and Safety Manual-Ontario”. She has authored numerous texts and articles on OHS due diligence, OHS liability for contractors, and corporate criminal liability for OH & S. She is a regular speaker at professional conferences. She has been frequently recognized as a leading occupational health and safety practitioner in the Canadian Legal Lexpert directory and as one of the best Canadian workers’ compensation and health and safety lawyers in Best Lawyers.
