I have worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner for several years and last year obtained my PMHNP. I am excited to be able to work in a setting providing medication management and some brief therapies for those in need of mental health care. I feel that my core medical knowledge is a strength for me when providing Psychiatric services. I am looking for a position where I can practice providing tele-health care and possibly some in person visits. I have worked in a tele-health position in the past and am familiar with the computer usage necessary to function in this type of position. Mental health care is so important to our general health care. Being able to provide mental health care to individuals in remote settings that would otherwise not have such resources available is a major desire of mine.
