About Cheryl Dolbel

With 14 years of experience in Special Needs Education, I've dedicated my career to supporting children and young adults with Special Needs in both Primary and Secondary school environments. My journey has been driven by a passion for creating inclusive, supportive educational spaces where every child can thrive. I joined the Family First service in 2018 and have watched the service grow and reach many families in need of support when their child was ill. I am now stepping into a new chapter as the CEO of Family First, and am dedicated to supporting families in Jersey who have a child requiring off-island medical treatment. In this role, I’m committed to not only managing and establishing the service but also continuously improving the support systems available to these families. My focus is on ensuring that they have access to the best possible care and resources during what can be an incredibly challenging time. By combining my extensive background in education with my current role at Family First, I aim to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families, ensuring they receive the support they need, wherever they are.
