About Cheryl Gould

As a learning facilitator, I am committed to creating innovative solutions to today's and tomorrow's challenges by training others to understand and practice the skills of being present, listening, finding offers everywhere, supporting one another, creative solution finding, and collaboration. When people become aware of how simple things like really listening, how we all share the same social triggers, and how our body language affects others, they learn how to positively affect the outcome of a situation. The increase in emotional intelligence and empathy delivers incredibly impactful results in all areas of their lives. It is my mission to facilitate personal internal awareness of automatic behaviors that get in the way of healthy, effective communication, in order to produce workplaces where staff collaborate to build relevant services for their customers in a fast changing environment.I value authenticity, respect, open dialogue, fun, relationships, presence, and flexibility.My vision is that staff at all levels feel empowered to communicate, experiment and innovate to create services and environments that support lifelong learning and healthy communities.My main influences are neuroscience, applied improvisation and best practices in management, leadership, and creativity, through books, videos, podcasts, conversations and conferences. I specialize in creating an atmosphere of trust, where people explore new ideas and new ways of being and seeing. I use techniques from experiential education, play, behavioral science and solid learning principles to achieve lasting results, and I am passionate about empowering people at all levels to create the world in which all of us want to live.
