My family felt I was over educated for it, but it felt right to me. I was good at it and I knew what I was doing. First, I mostly focused on move in/move out cleaning and post construction deep cleaning. My business grew quickly, and I hired employees to work on regular ongoing house cleaning projects. But my heart was in working with individuals who felt stuck in their cluttered home, feeling neglected and overwhelmed. It was more than just clearing up physical space, for me it was an emotional process. It brought me joy to watch a veteran or an elderly person who felt neglected for so long, light up with tears of happiness when they finally saw their home clean for the first time in years. After working with multiple clients, I discovered that more than anything else, people were struggling with clutter they didn’t know what to do with. Clutter would just sit there, taking up space and energy, holding no purpose and keeping people feeling stuck and overwhelmed in their own homes. That’s when ClearSpace was born. I work together with my clients to make new lifestyle goals and create clear and open space in their homes that can support the lifestyle they want. The work we do together to organize one room, one closet or one garage will last you for many years to come. Not only will you have a clear new space to enjoy right away, you will also have the tools to be able to maintain this new organized space, not having to do this work over and over again.
