About Cheryl Johnson

I am interested in Administrative work, and love doing reports, working with spreadsheets, and all other aspects of working in an office. I have been in the lumber business for over 30 years, first working in the mills, then moving into an office position. I was a Nelma certified grader, and have experience with planers, trimsaws, and forklifts. I have 10 years experience as an administrative assistant in a lumber manufacturing facility. I performed many duties, including data entry, billing and invoicing, writing reports and creating spreadsheets with Microsoft Office, and other miscellaneous tasks. I was also on the safety committee for most of those 10 years, performing such functions as safety inspections, taking meeting minutes, and doing the new hire safety orientation classes. I also have 8 years experience in retail sales and customer service, in the building supply industry. I provide sales support by typing quotes, getting pricing, researching products, and doing submittals for our sales team, among other daily duties, such as opening the retail store and running the registers.
