I am very versatile and eclectic.I have been an RN for 26 years. I specialized in Psych Nursing. My first position was a 4 bed psych unit at UTMB. I have experience in working many cultures as Native American, Psych and Prisons. Also long term care and rural hospitals. My most outstanding skills are pain management, end of life and its transition. I have excellent patient skills and evaluate not only their physical, but their emotional needs as well. I feel that if a patient in 'on the call light' there IS a reason. It may not just be physical. My summary is that I am very Holistic Minded. I wish to work with those with more 'out of the box' thinking. I study metaphysics and new energy. I am Reiki Level 3. I have studies alternative and integrative medicine for 30 plus years. I have a business of therapeutic grade essential oils and concentrate on a practice of self empowerment, spirituality and wellness on all levels. Education is the key to exploring how to take charge of your own life and convert it to wellness and purpose. I live on Galveston Island on the Gulf of Mexico in Texas, having returned home after spending most of my adult life in the Rockies and also working a a Travel Nurse in the west. In my spare time you will find me outside riding my bicycle or at the beach. I am available for educational classes and consults in all related areas of health and wellness for not only humans, but for pets too. I was a 'burned out nurse' who has found an alternate way to make an income that is within my boundaries of integrity. I am also a self employed entrepreneur and love every minute of it.
