About Cheryl Marshall

Leadership is not wielding authority it is empowering people”This is something I live my life by. I have always operated by building my team full of people that aren't exactly like me. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses they bring to the table. when you bring them together - that is when the magic happens. I surround myself with people whom I teach to be better than me. I constantly encourage my team to learn, to try new things, to grow not only as people but in their careers. The greatest gift is seeing my team excel and succeed. I keep in mind that trusting your employees is key. Without it, there is no collaboration only coordination.trust transforms a group of people into a team. “Treat employees like they make a difference and they will”.For me, going back to the basics is imperative. Being positive, kind, showing appreciation, trying to stay optimistic when it seems impossible. Life is good when you are happy, but much better when others are happy because of you.
