A highly experienced Brand & consumer-facing Apparel Product Leader with a track record of delivering category and brand defining product strategies and ranges for some of the most global Sports & Lifestyle brands including Gymshark, Represent, Nike & Adidas. I am a Brand Builder and combine a high taste level with a strong commercial eye. I apply deep market and consumer insights and Brand Management principles, to create and take to market profitable apparel product. Experienced in Men's, Women's and Kids apparel and have managed large functions and teams across Design, Merchandising, Product Management & Product Development. I am a strong merchant, with experience in traditional wholesale and retail channels as well as digital disruptor brands. I know what sells and how to sell it. I created and led the Own Brand product function at JD Sports PLC including strategy and concept development. I built and led the product organisation and team, delivering category and business growth and supporting a standout performance, as the retailer's revenues soared past the £3bn mark & its store network beyond stores. During my time at Gymshark, I have been part of the senior management team helping to shape this amazing, fast moving e-commerce business whilst creating innovative fitness apparel for Generation Z and beyond. I have strong International experience, having lived & worked in the UK, Germany and The Netherlands. I also understand the US market and consumer. I have started concepts and brands from scratch such as McKenzie (for JD) & commercialised existing brands such as The Duffer of St. George and Rascal Clothing. I have been a member of senior leadership teams and offer great experience in navigating the full range of product, brand and business challenges across the digital and multi-channel marketplaces.
