Background
About Cheryl Morales
My career in Tourism started back in the late 1980's when I worked as the Group Sales Manager for the White Mountain Hotel in North Conway, NH. Then I moved to Newport News, VA, and worked for the City's Tourism Department as the Marketing Manager for over 21 years. In 2023, I moved to the beautiful mountain region of Virginia and work with an incredible team at Visit Virginia's Blue Ridge. Virginia's Blue Ridge includes the City of Roanoke at its heart, surrounded by the City of Salem, Botetourt County, Franklin County, and Roanoke County - all within an hour's drive. I am the Director of Community Relations where our department works closely with over 1600 partners (private businesses, governments, non-for-profits) in order to attract more visitors and revenues for the region.
