About Cheryl Reddy

Having had the privilege of careers in journalism (as a writer and editor), corporate communications and agency, I understand the daily pressures of clients, the way news is consumed and the impact to journalism as well as the effective support required of agencies today. This has allowed me to be the strategic consultant that clients require. Most of my experience has been with B2B and B2G clients with sectors including, financial services to healthcare and government relations. Some of the clients I have led strategy and execution on include, Sasol, Netflix, Investec, Anglo American, Pfizer SA, GIBB Engineering, Glencore, Merck, Special Investigating Unit (SIU) and IPASA to name a few. I do have experience working with B2C brands, having led the Public Relations for E45, Dettol, Durex, Jik and Finish. Since joining Eclipse Communications in October 2018, I have tripled the revenue of the Corporate Centre of Excellence which now contributes to 50% of the agency’s revenue, won two major industry awards (2020 PRISM Best Large PR Consultancy and AdFocus Public Relations Agency of the Year - 2020), signed four in-country partnerships in Africa and launched our Mauritius office. I am currently a mentor to three young PR professionals in the industry.
