About Cheryl Sin

I'm a social impact professional who love to analyze current social problems among Singapore and the global community, and I hope to build an equitable society. I'm a curious worker with experience in impact measurement and management, monitoring and evaluation, programme design and implementation, and programme and events management. My strong interest in the the social sector space has brought me to be part of different capacity building projects for the social sector space. As a project consultant for National Youth Council's YouthTech Programme (2021-2022), I supported the team in developing training topics on digital skills for Youths, which includes conducting user research of Youths, managing an online community forum supporting the youth’s learning of digital skills, and facilitation of online trainings conducted. Being a youth myself running this programme, my relatability to the trainees has helped tease out the real needs of youths struggling for employment opportunities. Aside for the youth sector, I have a strong passion for the Disability sector. As an advocate for the PWDs, part of my work is to evaluate current disability programme services - further providing advisory support to improve on the impact these services can offer to PWDs. In my free time, I enjoy reading books from different genres and playing sports in general, with a particular love for long-distance running!
