Cheryl ( Sherry )Thrall Having earned a master’s in Clinical Psychology, I’ve always been passionate in my efforts to support people affected with intellectual disabilities and autism. Since 1981, I’ve held clinical director positions for ID/DD programs in Vermont Community Mental Health Centers, providing individual and group therapy, behavioral consultation, clinical assessments and skills training. My areas of clinical interest include several co-occurring disorders, including reactive attachment disorder, personality disorders and trauma-informed care. Since 1986, I’ve served as the Executive Director of Lincoln Street Inc, a Specialized Services Agency that supports individuals with complex medical conditions, as well as those who do not use spoken language to communicate. LSI is also tightly focused on youth transition services with emphasis on quality employment services. I am also the Co-Executive Director and co-founder of ARIS Solutions, a corporation jointly formed by LSI and Upper Valley Services. ARIS Solutions functions as the business office for LSI and numerous other non-profits. ARIS Solutions also provides fiscal agent services for the State of Vermont and in various states for programs that support veterans. In addition, I serve as Co-Executive Director and co-founder of Vermont Comforts of Home, a joint program of LSI and Upper Valley services that provides home-based care for seniors and people with disabilities. I have been a Board Member Vermont Care Partners/Vermont Council of Developmental and Mental Health Centers 1986 to present and am a Governor appointed member of the State Standing Committee for Vermont Developmental Services.
