About Cheryl Walters

I am responsible for Organisational Performance at the Railway Safety Regulator. My previous roles include: Acting Senior Manager - Strategy and Performance, Office Manager in the Office of the Chief Operations Officer and Executive Assistance to the CEO. I joined the Railway Safety Regulator in 2005as a Personal Assistant to a General Manager and now report to the Executive responsible for Business Development and Strategy. My role include, but is not limited to the following- Rendering reliable and efficient support services to the Railway Safety Regulator terms of maintaining a database of all organisational performance related issues- Providing advice to superiors on Organisational Strategy/Policy based on Specialist Knowledge, assisting the organisation to achieve greater efficiency and solve organisational performance related problems- Assist in the formulation of the RSR's long-term goals, objectives and initiatives, within the context of available resources and an assessment of the internal and external environment in which the entity operates, and to monitor and evaluate the implementation thereof- Monitoring and evaluating organisational and departmental performance and report on all organisational performance information related issues.
