About Cheryn Tan

I am a NTU graduate with an Honours Degree in Psychology and minor in Early Childhood Education. I have taken modules such as Industrial and Organisational Psychology in Practice, Consumer Psychology, Personnel Leadership and they have ignited my curiosity in the areas of Human Resource & Business Development. I strongly believe that Psychology research is important in helping companies to improve their products, services and marketing strategies. Having said that, my internship with SPH Media has exposed me to probe deeper on consumer behaviour and I often find myself connecting my Psychology knowledge to real life situation. Moreover, my internship with Versuni (formerly known as Philips Domestic Appliance) also widen my prospective as I connect with employees in the APAC region. Being trained as a Psychologist has allowed me to understand how humans interact and I believe in the creation of a caring and warm environment for all. As such, these experiences would grant me to contribute unique perspectives in both personal and professional settings.
