About Chessa Arey

I am currently working as a Coordinator, Membership and Strategic Partnerships at the American Composites Manufactures Association. I enjoy building relationships with our current members, potential members, and industry stakeholders. I work across multiple teams in the association including events & education, government affairs, marketing & communications, and industry technical / business development program to ensure a seamless member experience. During my time at George Mason, I worked with incoming students to welcome them to the school and college life. I sat on panels, led small groups and served as a mentor for many incoming students. I also had the opportunity to plan and develop new programs to be used in future orientations and managed the new team of orientation leaders. Throughout my studies, I have developed the ability to quickly assess a situation and offer a sustainable solution that encompasses the interests of all the parties involved. I have had experience in conflict mediation as well as facilitation. Two years ago I had the opportunity to study abroad and work with the Roma Education Fund located in Budapest, Hungary. Being there sparked my desire to travel the world and to never stop questioning what is waiting to be discovered around the next corner.
