Dr. Chessa Lutter is a Senior Nutrition Researcher an Senior Fellow at RTI International. Through more than 30 years working in maternal and child nutrition at the World Health Organization and non-governmental institutions, Dr. Lutter’s research and program expertise have helped shape the public dialogue around breastfeeding, complementary feeding, and prevention of child undernutrition and obesity through more than 70 scholarly articles, book chapters, and commentaries. Dr. Lutter holds a bachelor of science (BS) degree from the University of California at Berkeley and master of science (MS) and doctor of philosophy (PhD) degrees from Cornell University.
