Hello everyone, I started medical assisting my senior year of high-school. After I graduated high-school I obtained my Certified Medical Assisting Certificate. I continued working in my home town at the local clinic until I moved to Albuquerque where I worked as a Certified Medical Assistant for Lovelace Medical Group primarily in Family Practice and Rapid Care. I was cross trained to work in Bariatrics, Pediatrics, and Podiatry. In 2017, I became more interested in birth work and took a labor doula training. Before I was able to continue my path into birth work I had my first daughter and decided to stay home with her full-time. While I stayed home I had another daughter and graduated from the University Of Phoenix with a Bachelor's in Healthcare Management. It wasn't until I had my 3rd daughter that birth work found me again.
